Teodora Emilia Coldea has completed her Ph.D. (Biotechnology) in 2011 and postdoctoral studies in 2012 at the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine (UASVM) of Cluj-Napoca (Romania). She is responsible for the research activity developed on Brewery and Winery Pilot Plants of the UASVM Cluj-Napoca. She has published research articles related to innovative food products development, process optimizing, bioactive compounds traceability during processing, rapid methods for beverage analysis and by-products bioconversion in reputed journals.

Dr. Elisa Julianti is currently working as Principle of Food Process Engineering, Undergraduate degree of Food Science and Technology, University of Sumatera Utara, Indonesia. She obtained her Ph.D. in Food Sciences from Bogor Agricultural University, Bogor, Indonesia. Her area of research interest focuses on Postharvest Technology, Drying Technology, and Food Process Technology. She has published 9 research articles in journals as well as 12 papers in conferences as author/co-author. She is also working on 3 research projects General Director of Higher Education Ministry of National Education Republic Indonesia through Hibah Strategis Nasional, and Research and Development Agency of Ministry of Agriculture Republic Indonesia through KKP3T. Dr. George Ooko Abong’ is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Food Science, Nutrition and Technology, Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Nairobi (UoN). Born in the 1980 in Homa-Bay County, Dr. Abong’ completed his KCPE (1995) and KCSE (1999) in Kanga Primary and St. Mary’s School, Yala, respectively. He first joined the University of Nairobi in 2001 to pursue a Bachelor of Science Degree in Food Science and Technology and graduated with a First Class Honors in 2005 before joining MSc. Food Science and Technology class and graduated in 2008 from the same University.
