BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Hamdy M. Afefy is a Professor of Concrete Structures at Structural Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Tanta University, Tanta, Egypt. Dr. Afefy is an external peer reviewer for about 25 international journals as well as many international conferences in Egypt, China, Japan, Taiwan and Canada. The research interest of Dr. Afefy includes Finite element simulation of RC structures, Design of reinforced concrete structures, Pre-stressed concrete, Strengthening and rehabilitation of RC structures using different techniques, Engineered Cementitious Composites applications for strengthening of RC members, Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer applications for strengthening and rehabilitation of RC members and Non-destructive testing of RC structures.

Djordje Cica is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is engaged in teaching and research work in the area of advanced manufacturing systems. His interests include metal cutting processes, machine tools and process monitoring. His additional research interests include artificial intelligence techniques in predicting machining performance.
